Tar columns in the district of Stade on the way: bad work for a lot of money: police warn of rip-off

The police warns of a so-called tar column that is moving through the Stade district and demanding a lot of money for bad work.

The Irish-Polish workers tend to seek out agricultural areas and farms. They offer asphalt work, sometimes roof repairs and the like.

As a rule, it is inferiorly executed work that is billed at completely overpriced prices. Prepayments are usually required for the services provided, and additional payments are often required after completion. The reason given is often that the actual size of the area was misjudged.

The men are very determined and demanding.

The police advises to refrain from doing business at the front door and not to accept the supposedly good offer. In the end, the customer basically pays more.

If the people show up and don’t let them get rid of them, inform the police immediately. Anyone who has already been scammed should file a complaint.
