It’s been a year since tanjugueiras he fell in love with the audience thanks to his theme Terra in the Benidorm Fest. The trio formed by Aida Tarrío and the twins, Olaia and Sabela, has become a national phenomenon.he. Not only in Galicia, but also throughout Spain. Taking the traditional sound of their land and adding current sounds, the group has not stopped playing since they found a place in the previous edition of the Spanish preselection.
Now, to the delight of Eurofans, the Galicians have returned to the Benidorm Fest, specifically to the Euroclub party this Wednesday, February 1, which was organized in the city of Alicante. Happy to be back in Benidorm, we have been able to chat with them for a while.
Question (Q): How has it been to return to Benidorm a year later? Have you had good or bad flashbacks?
Aida: Neither good nor bad, because we just landed. Yes, it is true that being on stage is going to be super exciting. People have to keep the good. The bad that serves to learn and the good to enjoy.
Q: Last 2022 you did 80 concerts, do you keep any date?
Olaia: Well, they all have their super magical and important part. I think that this year we had two dates that were incredible. They went to A Coruña and Castrelos. There were two concerts where there were a lot of people and they were also connected.
Sabela: I can say data: 80,000 and 40,000 people. I say it. They have to call Catrelos again to see if that’s how we beat A Coruña.
Q: Has any participant from this year’s Benidorm Fest been in contact?
Aida: The truth is that no, that we know of. We send encouragement to all of them. We know that they are professionals like the top of a pine tree. Yesterday we were working and we couldn’t see the semifinal. We have been able to see some clips. We have seen agoney. She is super professional and she is worth going to Eurovision and conquering the world.
Q: Any advice when it comes to dealing with comments that are read on social networks?
Sabela: Each one is going to handle it the way they can. Even between the three of us, each of us handled it in a different way. My only advice is calm, calm and calm. And, above all, enjoy it.
Olaia: And if they want to cry, they should cry; and if they want to laugh, let them laugh; each one who lives his emotions as he wants.
Aida: Above all, they will understand that Twitter and social networks are a parallel world. It is not reality. There will always be criticism and you have to keep the constructive ones. We love that there is discussion.
Q: Speaking of debate, the importance of this year’s professional jury remains the same…
Aida: Of that we really have no idea. We have no idea how the voting is or how the jury is doing. Every year new things are learned and everything will improve. As everything in life.
Sabela: That each one do the best they can and forward.
Q: Do you have any favorite song from Benidorm Fest that you can’t stop listening to?
Aida: I personally love Alice Wonder. I’ve been following her for a long time and the song freaks me out: her style and her aesthetics.
Sabela: I love Megara. full.
Olaia: To me all, really. From here I call for everyone to go. I feel so. I will not be a hypocrite. We all have to go. Imagine that you have both editions representing there.
Q: Would you see each other in a future edition of the Benidorm Fest?
Aida: Never say never, but right now we wouldn’t do it again. We believe that other groups have to come to live the experience, but we will always be connected with the Benidorm Fest.
Sabela: Would we do it again if we hadn’t already gone to the Benidorm Fest? Yes, would we repeat now? It wouldn’t make any sense. How many groups there that need that opportunity? We already had ours and everyone needs their visibility.
