Until a year ago, many specialists in security policy and international relations believed that the warfare of the 21st century, especially already in Europe or Western countries, would be determined by the most modern weapons, drones, nuclear weapons or even just cyber attacks and information operations. However, the war in Ukraine has shown that even in a conflict between countries that have access to large military resources, classic heavy armored vehicles can become decisive. Currently, the supply of tanks to Ukraine, which considers them as potential determinants of the outcome of the war, is particularly relevant on the agenda – why is that, and what progress has been made in the discussions between the allies?
