Last Wednesday, around 4 p.m., four women aged 32 to 38 were arrested by the police in the rural commune of Tanjombato. They were suspected of larceny and had been the subject of complaints lodged with the Tanjombato public security station recently. Acting in an organized gang, these thieves are said to be behind all the thefts of kitchen utensils and poultry that have troubled the locality in recent times. Alerted by these incidents, the police opened an investigation to track them down. Thanks to the collaboration with the fokonolona, this gang of thieves was finally dismantled. The suspects were referred to the prosecution and are currently incarcerated in Antanimora.
