The well-known actors, Roberto Poblete and Alejandro Trejo, were responsible for bringing the last virtual play of the first week of the Recoleta Theater Festival to the homes of the Recoletanos, with the comedy “Tango Thriller”, written by Marco Antonio de la Parra and that was specially adapted for a virtual stage.
Produced by Teatro FinisTerrae, the play tells the story of two sextagenarian brothers, one who lives in Chile and the other in Argentina, who must face their father’s last will: to be buried in Buenos Aires and the conditions to distribute the inheritance, all of this in the midst of the global health crisis and the closing of borders.

Through these characters, also exposed to an extreme situation, we can reveal the corrosive layers of human, family and social relationships, especially in times of pandemic”, explains Roberto Poblete.
A live theater play, developed from the actors’ own home, through zoom, since it was written and mounted especially to be enjoyed by the public in a virtual way in real time. As a complement, a final discussion was also held, where the public could interact with the actors.
