Tangier – The local authorities of the wilaya of the Region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima affirmed that during their intervention following an alert Friday to the declaration of a fire in the park of Donabo falling under the territorial jurisdiction of the urban district from Tangier, a group of sub-Saharan migrants were spotted, one of whom was unconscious, specifying that the latter had been transferred to the Mohammed V regional hospital and that the doctor on duty had confirmed his death.
An investigation was opened by the competent authorities under the supervision of the prosecution to determine the circumstances and the causes of the death of the sub-Saharan migrant, adds the same source, noting that the people who accompanied him were arrested.
Thirteen in number, these people, who tried to flee, were taken into custody, the same source concludes.
