A father in Ciledug, Tangerang City, with the initials S (40) keep her baby’s remains inside freezer because there is no money to bury. Mentioned, the perpetrator reported directly to the RT that his son is kept in freezer.
“No findings, (father who) mountain. The RT who said that because he might be a foreigner, came and didn’t report it to the RT. Maybe in panic, confusion, he reported to the RT,” said Ciledug sub-district head, Marwan, when contacted, Wednesday (5/7/2023).
Marwan said S was a migrant and had no relatives there. S confused because they have no money to bury her baby.

After two days of keeping the baby’s remains in freezer, S finally reported. The local government, continued Marwan, helped S to take care of everything up to the funeral process.
“Because he has only been here for 3 months, his KTP is Bogor. But our response is that we will help until the funeral finally arrives manage administration at the district public hospital, we accompany all of them. We will accompany Dukcapil,” he said.
Remains of a 2-day-old baby kept in the freezer
Ciledug Police Chief AKP Dorisha Suryo said S brought the body of his baby from the hospital on Sunday (2/7) evening. The baby’s body was buried two days later or Tuesday (4/7), assisted by the local government.
“The body was put inside freezer from 8 p.m. On Tuesday (4/7), S took care of the death certificate in the village. After completing the death certificate, S took the baby’s body out of the house freezer to be buried at Selapajang TPU at around 11 am,” said Dorisha.
It is known that previously S took his wife, AA (33), to the hospital for delivery. Unfortunately, the baby of S and AA pair was born dead.
“Then, AA gave birth to a baby on Monday (3/7), at 07.00 WIB, in a condition where the baby had died. AA was treated in the ICU, while S returned home with the baby’s body to be buried,” he said.
In the afternoon at his residence, S had time to read Yasin’s letter before finally putting his son’s body in freezer. The reason S did this was before seeing her child being taken out of the refrigerator at the hospital.
“S read Yasin and then put the baby’s body inside freezer. Reason S put the body inside freezer is seeing the body being removed from the cooler at the hospital,” he explained.
