REGENCY. TANGERANG – The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) is increasing awareness of the transmission of the New Clade Avian Flu virus.

Furthermore, the Tangerang District Health Office is carrying out preparedness from the clinical side of health facilities including hospitals (RS), Puskesmas, clinics to health-related professional organizations.

“A number of health facilities have been alerted for the management of suspected bird flu cases in accordance with the applicable guidelines. Increase laboratory capacity to examine samples from suspected cases,” he said.

Until now, he said, the case of New Clade Avian Flu in Tangerang Regency had not been detected, but this required comprehensive mitigation.

“So far we haven’t found any cases, but we continue to monitor and coordinate regarding the development of this case,” he said.

He also appealed to the public to always apply Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS). Then his party asked to report to the local health officer if there was a sudden death of poultry in large numbers.

“If people experience symptoms of bird flu and have a history of contact with risk factors, go to the nearest health facility,” he said.
