Tandara will return to Brazil this Friday. Soon, at 9 am, the Brazilian team faces South Korea in the semifinal at 9 am. Before, at 1 am, they play Serbia vs USA.

The COB did not report the type of violation committed by the athlete or whether any prohibited substance was found in the examination of the 32-year-old player. The Committee only informed that it received a notification from the Brazilian Doping Control Authority (ABCD) last night.

The Brazilian Olympic Committee received this morning in Japan, through the Brazilian Authority for Doping Control (ABCD), notification of the provisional suspension for potential anti-doping rule violation by athlete Tandara Caixeta, of the women’s volleyball team. The test was carried out in the out-of-competition period at the sport’s training center in Saquarema on July 7th. Tandara will return to Brazil.
