Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed that she is selling her personal belongings so she can pay off her mortgage as her industry struggles under the weight of the pandemic.
The former EastEnders actress, 50, has revealed that she has started an online business where she sells clothes and garments that she has created or that she no longer needs.
Tamzin insisted that she wasn’t “snobbish” or cared about how she made money and was always looking for innovative ways to make money.

Speaking on the Irregular B * tches podcast, she said, “I’m in a situation when I start selling things. I am about to make a website for the things I created or bought that I no longer need. Things at home, clothes.
“I just think that’s probably going to be how I’m going to pay my mortgage and exist for a while, until our industry comes back.
“I’m not a snob or proud of what I do. I love a car startup sale, but it’s all online. I’m thinking of ways of, “How do I do that now?” I am not proud. “Oh my God, influencers make money, how do you do that?
“I’m looking for ways to maybe do it. I am in a decent situation. I can put my career on hold for a while and we will continue to eat.

Elsewhere in the conversation, she also admitted that her own experience in the theater industry had discouraged her from promoting it to her two children.
Tazmin, who is the mother of Florence, 12, and Marnie, eight, explained: “I worry about my own children, how their future is going to be because for now, if either of them wanted to act, I would say, ‘No. Do not go there yet.
“I am worried about my theater community which I grew up and trained with, the kids who are younger than me who are just out of college and have all these skills, and their skills will not be sharpened and honed. before a while.
