Construction work between Breisach and Gottenheim

On the Breisgau S-Bahn line, work on the embankment at the station near Gottenheim is pending and the track bed is being stabilized.
It has been around two years since the railway line from Freiburg to Breisach was completed and electrically operated. Necessary rework on the railway line will take place this week. The track bed has to be tamped at six level crossings between Gottenheim and Breisach as well as at points and tracks one and two in Breisach station.
