The Tampa Bay Lightning have made a new signing, securing forward Micheal Eyssimont with a two-year, one-way contract extension. This latest acquisition is set to earn $800,000 per year, cementing his spot on the team. Eyssimont was acquired by the Bolts in a trade deal with the San Jose Sharks, where he had previously been playing with Vladislav Namestnikov.
Eyssimont, 26 years old, played for the Winnipeg Jets, Sharks and Lightning in the past season, collecting a total of 15 points with five goals and 10 assists in 54 games. He was also part of the Tampa team in their recent playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he made an appearance in three games and even picked up an assist. The Lightning have high hopes for this talented player, and look forward to his contributions to the team in the seasons to come.
