The National Security Research Institute is considered a public benefit company engaged in research on national security, defense, strategy, etc. The institute’s employees include many senior officials in the former security establishment, it was founded in 2006 and is located near Tel Aviv University. The institute’s website states that its mission is to “strengthen Israel’s national security and help secure its future as a Jewish and democratic state.”
