CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu to provide habitat for two-year-old tiger captured from tea plantation. Anamalai Tiger Reserve will provide a natural habitat for tigers in four hectares. The 140 kg tiger has no health problems. A special habitat is also created to teach how to hunt in forest areas. Then it will be released into the wide forest. This tiger exhibits the characteristics of forest tigers.

The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) guidelines can also be considered for shifting the tiger to a new habitat. According to reports, the authorities have also sought the advice of wildlife biologists for this. K. Ramesh, Senior Wildlife Biologist, Wildlife Institute of India, who has done similar work for tigers in Madhya Pradesh, will soon visit the Anamalai Tiger Sanctuary.
