Tamil Nadu says Sandeep Warrier cannot be sent to Indian camp as net bowler

Chennai: Tamil Nadu will not send Sandeep Warrier, the net bowler of the Indian team preparing for the Test series against England, to the team camp. Sandeep Warrier, who moved to Tamil Nadu from Kerala this season, is currently playing in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy Twenty20.

The BCCI has directed Sandeep to arrive in Chennai on the 27th of this month ahead of the first Test starting on February 5 and then enter the team’s bio-bubble after the Kovid test. The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association has said that Sandeep will not be released until the end of the Mushtaq Ali Trophy on the 31st.

Tamil Nadu has written to the BCCI pointing out this. Tamil Nadu wants Sandeep to be included in the bio-bubble after the Mushtaq Ali Atrophy. The BCCI has not responded.
