Some follow dangerous eating habits in Ramadan that cause catastrophic harm to health, without being aware of it, such as using charcoal to roast kofta and meat and exposing it directly to it, as well as heating bread on fire, all of which are daily habits that we all do but cause serious health problems.

And Dr. Marwan Salem, a therapeutic nutritionist, warned against using charcoal in the barbecue, stressing that it is a catastrophic habit and causes cancer, noting that white smoke from charcoal is carcinogenic.Marwan Salem told Echo Al Balad that the habit of putting charcoal in the middle of the kofta or even grilling on the charcoal results in the tar tar that fills this food, which are all dangerous carcinogens that must be stopped.

Marwan Salem explained that the best way to grill the kofta is not to expose it directly to the charcoal, and to have a sufficient distance between it and the charcoal and to be completely careful not to come into contact with the kofta or any eaten food that is roasted.

He also advised replacing Shi Kofta with charcoal, using the electric follicle as it is safer and healthier than carcinogenic charcoal.

Ready tamarind

Dr. Marwan Salem also warned against juices that are made of colored powder, such as black tamarind, orange, and sobia, stressing that they consist of glucose, dye color and taste, and leave traces on the tongue due to the dyes in them.

The therapeutic nutritionist explained that these drinks are dangerous and all their contents are carcinogenic, especially the dye, and they are made under the ladder of beer.

It is a habit that we do daily after keeping the bread in the freezer, and to quickly heat it before breakfast, we heat it over the stove fire, but Dr. Marwan Salem warned of this dangerous habit, explaining that heating the bread on the fire causes the secretion of acrylamide, which is a dangerous substance that causes cancer.
