Elián Ángel Valenzuela, known artistically as L-Gante, faces a trial in the Criminal Court No. 3 of Mercedes on charges of threats and illegal deprivation of liberty. According to the information available, the judicial process began this Tuesday, with Judge Ignacio Racca, who presided over the court. The singer, who arrived accompanied by his lawyers, faces accusations that include qualified threats and unlawful deprivation of liberty, among other charges.

On this occasion, Tamara Baéz, his ex-partner and mother of his daughter Jamaica, made an emotional post on her Instagram stories to support the artist. With a very heartfelt phrase, the media left a warm message: “Trust in God, even when you don’t know what is to come.” Along with an emoji of two praying hands and a red heart, Báez defined her emotional state during the afternoon in which her ex-partner faced the first hearing for the trial against him.

It should be remembered that the most serious case against L-Gante arose after a complaint from municipal employees, who accused him of having forced them into his vehicle and threatening them with a firearm. This incident occurred after friends of the singer, known as “La Mafilia”, were arrested after an altercation in a bowling alley in the Conurbano. According to case documents, L-Gante reportedly held the victims for approximately 20 minutes, demanding the release of his friends.

This Tuesday, during the first hearing of the trial, L-Gante asked to testify, recounting his version of the events that occurred during a pilgrimage in General Rodríguez. According to his testimony, a traffic incident with a woman in a van triggered the situation that led to him being charged. Prosecutor Adrián Landini is carrying out the accusation in two files, one of which includes charges for possession of narcotics and qualified concealment.

The court decided that the singer not be detained during the process, considering that there is no risk of flight. This decision was made after evaluating his presence in the courtroom as a sign that the musician is willing to face trial. The process will last throughout the week, with hearings scheduled to analyze the evidence and testimonies presented.

Outside the court, the artist’s mother, Claudia Valenzuela, expressed her unconditional support for her son, expressing positive expectations regarding the outcome of the trial. For his part, L-Gante’s manager, Maxi, assured that the singer is calm and confident in his innocence, highlighting that the legal defense is in charge of a team of lawyers that has not changed since the beginning of the process.

The trial has captured the attention of the media, who have closely followed every development of the case. The images of the singer arriving at the court, dressed in a formal suit, have been widely disseminated, reflecting the seriousness with which L-Gante faces this difficult situation in his life.
