The Tallinn Music Week International Music Industry Festival has already announced its dates – the festival will take place from 4 to 8 May 2022 in Tallinn. The acceptance of applications for the participation of musicians has already started, which will continue until December 19.
Participation in the prestigious festival “Tallinn Music Week” can be registered by filling in the questionnaire on the festival website tmw.ee. Musicians of any genre from all over the world, including bands and solo performers from Latvia, can apply. In total, 150 to 170 artists will be selected to participate in the festival – their names will be announced at the beginning of next year. In addition to the music program and concerts, TMW will host discussions and lectures on the music industry, expert seminars, training and consultations.
This year, TMW took place from September 29 to October 3. It brought together 992 industry professionals and around 17,000 visitors to 60 different venues. In total, 177 artists from 21 countries performed at the festival. Latvia was represented at the festival by Sign Libra, “+ K + M + B”, “Pamirt”, “The Coco’nuts”, hairpin, “ZeMe”, Aleksandr Aleksandrov, “VVZ”, Waterflower, “Oghre” and Gints Smukais. The Latvian Unaccustomed Music Festival “Sound Forest” presented a specially designed experimental music program “Tallinn Music Week”.
