Musicians, producers, sound technicians, DJ composers and music lovers who wish to enter the exciting world of creating melodies for television and streaming platforms. Ideal for those with a basic, intermediate and advanced musical level, this program is a unique opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to know what you need to make a living from musical composition for TV.
Goals
During this intensive five-day course, participants will acquire the essential foundations and practical skills to succeed in the competitive field of music for image. Our main objective is to provide them with the necessary tools and knowledge so that they can seek employment opportunities in the sector and improve their technique, organization and music production skills.
Advances in musical technology have represented a great advance in systems of musical production, composition, interpretation, learning and consumption. The contemporary creator, especially one who composes for audiovisuals, must know the tools that make up the modern musical studio. Therefore, we will study the basic functions of the programs and the equipment necessary to face a current audiovisual project, focused especially on the world of TV and platforms.
At the end of the course, the student must present a musical proposal of the exercises proposed on several real television and advertising projects; besides:
You will learn music creation systems for different television formats. You will learn resources to choose between musical genres, and other options according to the image that the production company offers us to “sell its product.” Generate a well-organized work force that allows us to start projects without need to waste time when composing. You will learn what the client who asks us for the job needs and what our enemies are; You will begin to think like active composers do. You will free your mind from compositional constraints and begin to create ideas for different types of programs, advertising spots, audiologists, television curtains…
The theoretical lessons of the course are supported with examples of series, magazines, advertisements, dividers, musical backgrounds and practical exercises so that students adopt the techniques used by active professionals.
Program
Know the working mechanics of a musician for TV, learn music synchronization techniques at the service of images, genres (from orchestration to the creation of electronic music) and the formulas that work with each type of audiovisual project.
