Talk about ASN to IKN transfer: Everyone will get IDR 100 million?

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – There is a proposal regarding incentive rules for state civil servants (ASN) who move to the capital city of the islands or in a short period of time ASN to IKN. The proposal is in the form of an incentive of IDR 100 million to be given to each ASN that moves to the new capital city.

Responding to this proposal, the Special Staff of the Minister of Finance for Strategic Communications, Yustinus Prastowo, said that the Ministry of Finance is still reviewing the capacity of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) to these incentives to be funded by the Ministry of State. Machine Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN RB).

“Currently the Ministry of Finance and KemenPAN are conducting coordination and in-depth studies, regarding the analysis of the workload, risks, balance and financial capabilities of the state,” said Prastowo through a message application, Saturday, August 10 2024.

The special staff of the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, did not answer why incentives should be given to ASN after getting live facilities at IKN. He did not explain whether there was enough state funding in this study to encourage ASN. “Right now negotiations are going on,” he said.

Regarding the proposal to give incentives to ASN, Prastowo said that this is the authority of the PAN RB Ministry. “This is the domain of the PAN RB Ministry,” he said. Before that there was much discussion about the proposed promotion in the form of tukin for ASN which moved to IKN from last weekend.

However, the Minister of PAN and RB, Abdullah Azwar Anas, has not yet responded to the reason for the plan to give an incentive of IDR 100 million to ASN that is given to each ASN to IKN. As of this writing, Azwar had not responded to phone calls and confirmation messages sent to his cell phone number.

Kemenpan RB is actively preparing the process of moving the State Civil Service (ASN) to the National Capital (IKN) of the islands, starting from human resources to management. Where about 12 thousand employees consisting of Intermediate JPT, JPT Pratama, Administrative Positions, Executive Positions, and Executives from 38 Ministries / institutions are gradually moving to IKN until December 2024.
