TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Taliban reported to have executed the younger brother of former Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh.
The former Vice President of Afghanistan is known to be one of the leaders of the anti-Taliban opposition forces in the Panjshir valley.
Saleh’s younger brother, Rohullah Azizi was killed a few days after the troops Taliban took control of the central province of Panjshir, the last province to stand against them.
Quoted from Reuters, the information emerged from the nephew.
“They executed my uncle,” Ebadullah Saleh told Reuters via text message.

“They killed him yesterday and won’t let us bury him. They keep saying his body must rot.”
The Urdu language account of the Taliban information service Alemarah said Rohullah Saleh or Rohullah Azizi was killed in the fighting in Panjshir.
Quoted from Sky News, Rohullah Azizi died after being shot dead by the Taliban.
The chronology was Azizi, traveling in North Panjshir province, with the driver.
Then the car was stopped by Taliban at a checkpoint.
