Taliban Says 28 Members Killed in Suicide Bomb Explosion at Kabul Airport

ACCEPTED, KOMPAS.TV The Taliban revealed that 28 of its members were killed in a suicide bombing outside Kabul Airport.

The Taliban also confirmed that 72 Afghan civilians were killed in the bloody incident on Thursday (26/8/2021).

Two explosions due to suicide bombings occurred outside Afghanistan Airport.

One explosion occurred at the Abbey Gate, and another at the Baron’s Hotel.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing.

At least, 13 United States (US) soldiers reportedly died because of the incident.

But the Taliban insists, they are the ones who suffer the most from this.

“We lost more people than America,” said one Taliban official Al-Jazeera.

The official, who declined to be named, insisted the gal made no reason for foreign troops to extend their deadline to leave Afghanistan from August 31.
