Kabul: After banning women from universities, the Taliban also banned them from working in NGOs. It is forbidden to work in national and international NGOs.

The ban was imposed after serious complaints were received about the dress code of women working in these factories, according to an order issued by the Taliban’s Finance Ministry to NGOs.

The order also states that women who work in these establishments do not wear the hijab according to Islamic law. The Taliban have warned that women should not be allowed to work until further notice and that NGO licenses will be canceled if they violate the order.

The Taliban imposed two restrictions on women in one week. Earlier, the Taliban had issued an order banning women from entering universities. Following this, the Taliban issued a new ban amid severe criticism from the international community.
