Quoted from The Guardian, Wednesday (1/9/2021), Taliban fighters stand on top of their captured Humvee as they prepare for a parade of looted US military hardware in the heart of southern Afghanistan.
A long line of green vehicles lined a line Wednesday on a highway outside Afghanistan’s second largest city, Kandahar. They are decorated with the white-and-black Taliban flag mounted on the antennae, according to an AFP reporter.

Taliban fighters were also seen controlling a multi-purpose truck – used by US, NATO and Afghan forces during the 20-year Afghanistan war – while others climbed into a vehicle in Ayno Maina, a town on the outskirts of the city.
Pick-up trucks laden with Taliban supporters slid past a convoy of military vehicles, some armed with heavy weapons and machine guns.
At least one Black Hawk helicopter was seen flying over Kandahar in recent days, suggesting someone from the former Afghan army was in the cockpit as the Taliban do not have a qualified pilot.
