ACCEPTANCE – The Taliban completely captured Islam Qala, a border town in western Herat province, a lucrative trade route with neighbors Iran .
Afghan officials reportedly fled to Iran for the safety of their lives.
“Islam Qala is now under our full control and we will try to operate it again today,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban movement.
