Taliban Condemns US Drone Attack That Kills ISIS-K Members, Considers A Threat To Afghanistan

ACCEPTED, KOMPAS.TVThe Taliban strongly condemned the attack drone United States (US), which was launched to kill ISIS-K members who planned suicide bombings at Kabul Airport, Afghanistan.

The Taliban thinks that what the US is doing is endangering Afghan territory.

Previously, the US carried out the attack drone to ISIS-K territory in Nangarhar Province in eastern Afghanistan, which borders Pakistan, Friday (27/8/2021).

The ISIS-K terrorist network is the party claiming to be the party responsible for the suicide bombing at Kabul Airport, last Thursday (26/8).

The attack by the US is said to have killed two key ISIS-K members who are believed to be planners and facilitators.

However, the Taliban strongly condemned the US stance.

“America should have informed us (Taliban) before carrying out air strikes,” a Taliban spokesman told Al Jazeera Reuters quoted from CBC.

They said two women and a child were injured in the attack.
