ACCEPTED, KOMPAS.TV – The Taliban are said to have agreed to a $430 million sale of marijuana.
It is billed as the Taliban’s first trade deal after taking control of Afghanistan in mid-August.
The Taliban said they would start planting gardens to sell all cannabis products.
The sale is also rumored to be made in a matter of days.

This is certainly surprising considering the Taliban has made it clear that it will fight the rampant sales of marijuana in Afghanistan.
Moreover, the country is known as one of the highest cannabis suppliers to Europe.
While still insisting marijuana is illegal in Afghanistan, the Taliban say they turn a blind eye to making a profit.
Afghanistan is experiencing financial difficulties after the United States (US) froze their assets.
The Taliban also said they sold the marijuana to drug and medical companies.
