Kabul University professor tears up his certificates during a televised debate. The protest was against the action of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, which banned college education for girls. The incident occurred during a discussion on Tolo News. The footage was tweeted by Shabnam Nazimi, a former political adviser to the Afghan government.
The tweet says the professor who participated in the discussion tore up certificates saying why he got the education that his sisters didn’t get. A strong protest continues against the ban on university education. The boys had boycotted the class the day before.
