Talented Quebec Girl Impresses Judges on The Voice Kids France with Celine Dion Cover

There is talent in Quebec, and France often recognizes it! A young Quebec girl recently charmed the judges of the show The Voice Kids in France, with a magnificent cover of Celine Dion, reports the Montreal Journal.

Jade Mathieu dazzled by interpreting the piece All by myself, popularized by Céline Dion. At only 14 years old, she managed to move the four judges, Patrick Fiori, Kendji Girac, Nolwenn Leroy and Slimane, who turned around at the sound of her voice.

“Singing, at home, is a gift from heaven,” summed up Nolwenn Leroy.

Kendji Girac bluntly declared that he had been “breath-taken” by the power of the young girl who lives in Longueuil.

But it was ultimately Slimane’s team that she chose. She will return to France in August for the rest of the competition.

“I am delighted and honored to have been approached by The Voice Kids Franc in France, it has always been my dream, to share my voice and my passion for music. I look forward to this incredible adventure and the opportunity to learn and grow as an artist,” the teenager said in a statement.

Remember that she has already participated in several competitions in Quebec, including the Petit Festival de la chanson de Granby and Le Tremplin de Dégelis. If she had already tried to participate in La Voix Junior, her application was however not accepted.
