An elephant from Thailand has an exceptional talent for painting. Nong Thanwa, who resides in the Maetang Elephant Camp, has already made several works of art and one of them was recently auctioned. A buyer paid almost 5,000 euros for it. “With the proceeds of the painting, we will invest in a new elephant enclosure,” her care staff said.
