The young tennis player from Talavera, Yerard Amor, from the Los Alcores Tennis School, has been proclaimed the winner of the TTK Warriors tournament held at the Andrés Gimeno Club in Barcelona, in the under-10s category.
The tournament brought together the best national under-10s players and they had to play their matches on clay. The matches that Yerard Amor had to play to become champion were the following: In the first round he beat Pau Sánchez by 4-0/4-0; In the second round he beat Alejandro Romero by 4-1/4-1; In the semi-finals he beat Karl Friedrich Glombik by 4-2/4-0 and in the final he managed to beat the number one seed by 4-1/4-0.
A tournament played brilliantly by the very young player from Talavera, which promises a promising future for him, according to the Talavera club. In the meantime, it is time to work hard, with enthusiasm and tenacity, to climb, step by step, the upward progression that he needs.
