The TV profile is building what is described as “Norway’s roughest campsite” in Odda. But since the 53-year-old does not know much about travel, he will now get professional help.

– If I’m going to build a large campsite, I need to know what I’m doing. That’s why I’m taking over Pers Hotell for a whole week from 17 to 23 April for some training, he writes.

The grand project for Lothe includes, among other things, Viking themes, where a stave church, longhouse and Viking ship are some of the attractions.

However, he has not quite reached the finish line yet, but is still working hard to get it in the box.

The TV profile has had a big dream for his hometown of Odda all his life. The village needs development, more jobs and more tourism, he believes.

– We are following the development of me building a new campsite. It will be Norway’s toughest, Lothepus told Dagbladet at the time.

The idea of ”Norway’s roughest campsite” has always been part of the plans of Odda’s eldest son. Several years ago he wanted to build a small replica, but now he has thrown himself around to build a large, authentic-sized campsite.
