Interim Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s press office said the “Free Patriotic Movement” insists on opening the new year with debates and rhetoric to obscure its multiple failures, especially in the electricity dossier. Al-Bustani opens the new controversy regarding the electricity loan requested by Energy Minister Walid Fayyad. Al-Bustani does not find it embarrassing to point his arrows at the prime minister, asking: “Where are the 10 hours of electricity you promised the world with?”, while he should address the question to the minister of “current” and to the his political team who held the Ministry of Energy for many years.
And he added in a statement: “Since the media immorality that the “current” adopts has no limits, we will have to reveal a document (attached to the statement) that shows the scope of the “shadow minister” and the deputy “protection” minister” by checking the branches of the ministry and supervising its decisions, as the prime minister received official correspondence from an energy minister, in which the name of Nada Al-Bustani was crossed out and the name of Walid Fayyad was written by hand.
