This Friday, Grand Besançon Doubs Handball is playing its 4th day of the ProLigue championship. The bisontin group faces Ivry, at 8:15 p.m., at the Ghani Yalouz Sports Palace. The Bisontins will be keen to show another face after their failed start to the championship.
The bisontin coach Benoît Guillaume asks for greater consistency from his team in competition. The latter shows notorious periods of weakness, which make him lose his footing. This is what happened last weekend against Villeurbanne, where the group had to tear themselves away at the end of the game to come back to the height of their opponent. These ups and downs for Benoît Guillaume are undoubtedly due to the youth of his collective, which will have to be even more demanding during the next preparation periods if he wants to perform better.
While a complicated month of October looms, the bisontin coach wants his team to look for a good result tomorrow night. “We have to learn to better manage weak times during matches,” he said. And to continue: “the time to restart and too long for us to be able to claim to take the points. We will try to correct that tomorrow ”.
A complicated match
Benoît Guillaume expects a difficult confrontation. Ivry remains on a loss last week against Massy Essone. So as much to say that the visitors will want to forget this misstep and leave Besançon with the points of victory. For their part, the Bisontins do not hear it that way. They will not want to fail on their floor. “We will be keen to get the two points and show our audience that we can beat anyone at home,” says the coach. Note that the workforce has changed little compared to last week. For this meeting, and to reward them for their great investment since the recovery, the bisontin coach has selected for the first time two promising young people: Antonin Paris and Hugo Faillard.
