Take the Jakarta-Bandung Damri Route for only Rp 100

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – DAMRI officially opened a new route from Jakarta (Kalibata City) – Bandung (Citylink Festival and Kebon Kawung) Round Trip on Friday (3/7/2020). This bus fleet is scheduled every day starting at 07.00-17.00 WIB.

Through the release received Kompas.comDAMRI’s Corporate Secretariat Division Head, Nico R Saputra, revealed that this route is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to support government programs, namely connecting Indonesia to increase industrial investment.

“And optimizing the ease of access to land transportation, especially DKI Jakarta – West Java as a program to accelerate national economic growth,” Nico said.

Meanwhile, DAMRI’s Director of Commercial and Business Development, Sandry Pasambuna, who was also present at the inauguration, said he was optimistic that the opening of this route service could contribute to accelerating the pace of the business climate and economic potential between the two provinces.

He also said the presence of DAMRI to directly support the Citylink Festival and continue to develop transportation owned by this State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) and hoped that one day it would become a large and proud transportation company.

Citylink Festival is one of the shopping business centers in Bandung, located on Jalan Peta, South Ring.

Meanwhile, Kalibata City is a strategic residential area located on Jalan TMP Kalibata, Pancoran, South Jakarta. This makes the two cities a potential market share for DAMRI.

DAMRI also provides ticket promo prices in the launch of this new route.

  • The DAMRI route Jakarta (Kalibata City) – Bandung (Festival Citylink) is Rp. 100, valid for only two days, 3 and 4 July 2020.
  • The normal price is IDR 120,000

Nico explained, to make it easier for customers to get tickets for this service, the public can access directly through DAMRI Apps or online travel agent RedBus.
