Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government canceled a national holiday on December 24, 2021 due to the re-emergence of Covid-19 cases. In addition, the government shifted 2 national holidays.

“There are three points, the government has decided to change 2 national holidays and abolish 1 day,” said Muhadjir in his press conference, Friday (6/18/2021).

Tuesday 10 August 2021 (Islamic New Year 1443) holiday has been shifted to Wednesday 11 August 2021.
Tuesday 19 October 2021 (Mawlid Nabi Muhammad) holiday has been shifted to Wednesday 20 October 2021
Christmas and New Year’s holidays on December 24, 2021 will be cancelled.
