“Take Me in Your Hands”: A Touching New Song About Love and Family by Paula and Normunds Ķietis

Listeners will remember Paula Ķeti from the heyday of the band “Putnu balle”, Imantas Kalniņš’s album of songs, as well as from the songs sung in his childhood together with his father Normunda Ķeti. Since 2008, Paula Ķiete has been living and working in England, in the city of Guildford, since she started and completed her studies in the vocal class of the Academy of Contemporary Music. Currently, Paula’s main occupation is vocal pedagogy.

Normunds Ķietis has been well known since 1987 as the soloist of the group “Lauku muzikanti” and the author of the music and part of the lyrics for the last two music albums.
