‘Reina’ once again targets the border band Cóndor, which with its rock, pop and electronic musical proposal, honors women who day after day are in search of gender equality.
“It is an original song, which speaks of the admiration we have for a woman, subtly putting her on an altar, it goes hand in hand with a video clip, we recorded it in Ciudad Juárez and we did it with that idea that the diversity of women was” said, José Hernández, a member and one of the founders of Cóndor.
Although the pandemic put a stop to their live performances, the Chihuahuan band works tirelessly in the studio, creating new music and adapting to the new normal.
With six years of experience, in February 2016 they released their first album, ‘Casanova’, with 10 songs, with ‘Titan’ being their first single, a song that positioned them within the national music scene.
“The song came out on Spotify, and in several playlists, it has more than a million and a half reproductions, without a doubt that song was a watershed for the band, to make us known,” he said.
Cóndor is a musical project in duet but in a live concert they perform as a complete band, where they include Sergio Rosales, bassist; Jesús Montes, percussionist and Jorge Aguilera on drums and the composition process is always handled by Misael and José.
“This February 26 we will be releasing a new single, in these times I think that it works more to handle singles than a complete album, because the music is digested very quickly by the public, so every month we will be releasing material, that is our idea that every theme of the hand with a video clip ”, he indicated.
