“There was an agreement with Werner that he could go abroad under certain conditions. The beginning of the season was very successful for him individually, he was the most productive player in the league. Even then there was interest, he was shocked and it prevented him from leaving faster. Both the player and our club have benefited from the transfer, ”Artūras Visockis-Rubenis, the head coach of Liepāja, explained to Latvijas Avīze.
Kohs played seven games in the Latvian-Estonian league this season, averaging 19 points, which is currently the second best indicator. Therefore, financially and to a certain extent also in terms of level, they took a step back, but came to prove themselves, took responsibility.
