Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani is in Luxembourg to participate in the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union. The Council, chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has as its first item on the agenda the situation in Israel and in the region, to which the extraordinary meeting of the last October 10th.
In this regard, the deputy prime minister will illustrate what emerged from his recent missions in the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean area and from the constant contacts he has had with the main regional players.
The 27 foreign ministers will also discuss Russian aggression against Ukraine and the latest developments regarding Armenia and Azerbaijan. They will then proceed to an exchange of views on the situation in Serbia and Kosovo and on that in the Sahel region. Finally, High Representative Borrell is expected to inform the Council of the outcome of his recent trip to China.
