The U-23 Taiwan National Team made preparations to face it U-23 Indonesian National Team Of 2024 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification by practicing and sparring in Malaysia.
Currently the U-23 Taiwan national team is still in China after undergoing the National Games agenda. The young squad of the team nicknamed the Blue Wings will depart for Malaysia on September 1.
In Malaysia, Taiwan has scheduled a test match against the U-23 Malaysian national team before leaving for Indonesia. Taiwan will face a Qualifying match for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup against Turkmenistan on September 6 and against Indonesia on September 9.
“I’m glad none of the players were injured. The players were just tired, so the training camp can be a means for players to relieve fatigue,” said Taiwan U-23 coach Zeng Tailin as quoted from Gogoal.
“In this training camp, I know there are some problems like in the National Games. I feel lucky that no players are injured, but the players are tired,” he added.
Tailin hopes that his team can quickly recover and adjust to conditions again before competing at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, in order to fight for a ticket to the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup finals which will take place in Qatar.
In preparation for Malaysia, Tailin has prepared a strategy that will be used to face Turkmenistan and Indonesia.
Tailin has done research by preparing information about the two opponents he will face. Compared to Turkmenistan, Tailin admitted that he received more information about the Garuda Muda squad.
