[台北 6日 ロイター] – The Taiwanese governing administration expressed its condolences to the victims and people in mourning immediately after the earthquake that hit the Chinese province of Sichuan on the 6th, and stated it was prepared to mail a rescue team.
Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen reported in a assertion that she hopes rescue and restoration initiatives will go easily and standard lifestyle can resume as quickly as attainable.
The 6.8-magnitude earthquake was the worst since 2017, killing at least 46 people today.
The president’s office said it was unaware of casualties among Taiwanese.
Taiwan firefighters reported its rescue teams are ready and completely ready to go if asked to do so, but China has not stated whether or not it will accept foreign rescue teams.
In 2008, Taiwan despatched a guidance group when a massive-scale earthquake occurred in Sichuan province itself, creating intensive problems.
