A serious car accident occurred at 11:00 a.m. on the 11th on the Coastal Highway of Keelung City-Taiwan Line 2. When a black Ford Mustang was driving from the urban area to Wanli, it was suspected of losing control and crossing the traffic dividing line. It drove into the opposite lane and hit the A silver car, the driver of the silver car lost consciousness on the spot due to the violent impact, and died on the spot. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be clarified by the police.

It is understood that at about 11:58 a.m., a 41-year-old man surnamed Wu was driving a black Ford Mustang on Taiwan Line 2, but suddenly drifted across the double yellow lines and hit the oncoming 71-year-old man surnamed Huang. He died at the scene after being hit. Wu Nan and the passengers in the car, 3 adults and 1 child, were once trapped in the car. Firefighters rescued 5 people with destructive equipment, and sent 5 people together with the driver to Chang Gung Hospital.

According to Wu Nan’s confession afterwards, at that time, he crossed the traffic dividing line because he lost control and then drove into the opposite lane, so he hit Huang Nan. However, the police conducted a blood alcohol test on Wu Nan and found that the alcohol value was 0.60MG/L. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be clarified by the police.
