Back in September, Konami revealed that their very beloved JRPG series Suikoden would be getting a remastered version, including the first two games in a package called Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars.
Featuring enhanced graphics (all animations and background illustrations have been upgraded) and improved gameplay (battles can be faster, autosave implemented), the remake is optimized for modern systems and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch and Available on Xbox One.
We haven’t heard anything about it since it was announced, but now we have an indication that a release might not be too far away. The source is Taiwan’s age rating system, and the game has an age rating of 12, which is published on the website of the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Board.
While this isn’t an official Konami announcement, we firmly believe that it will be shown at the latest in June at one of the many video game events already confirmed.
