Citizen (WN) Estonia Valeria Vasilieva was in the spotlight after her video went viral on social media for calling the police in Bali corrupt. Vasilieva turned out to have left Bali since last Tuesday (17/5).
“The person concerned has left the territory of Indonesia via Bali on May 17, 2022 with Qatar Airways airline QR961,” said the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Bali, Anggiat Napitupulu. detikBaliFriday (30/5/2022).
Anggiat said Valeria Vasilieva came to Bali on April 25, 2022 and used a visit visa. Anggiat admitted that he did not know the destination in question to Bali.
“The person in question is one of Miss from Estonia. We don’t know whether from April to May there will be Miss Global activities in Bali, it was not included because at that time the conditions were still a pandemic, not like now,” said Anggiat.
Then what is the legal process for Valeria Vasilieva when she is no longer in Indonesia? Anggiat said the legal process was handed over to the relevant agencies. Moreover, they do not know the time and location of the incident.
“At that time, we did not know when the timecus and locus were. We also found out on May 17 that it was estimated that he uploaded the video, perhaps in preparation for leaving Bali or after returning from Bali,” he said.
