“Tahkeem Center Participates in Acres 2023 Exhibition for Real Estate Investment in Sharjah, UAE”

SHARJAH, 28th May / WAM / The Sharjah Center for International Commercial Arbitration “Tahkeem” participates in the real estate investment exhibition “Acres 2023”, which is held at the Sharjah Expo Center, with the aim of introducing the participants to the center and its pioneering role in serving the economic and business sectors in the emirate, as well as enhancing communication and dialogue. With specialists, experts and decision-makers working in the real estate sector in the Emirate of Sharjah and discussing ways of joint cooperation.

Ahmed Al-Ajla, Director of Tahkeem Center, said that the ICRES exhibition is a great opportunity to meet with various companies and institutions operating and related to the real estate sector, which is one of the most important sectors affecting the local economic system, in addition to seeing the latest developments and developments in the Emirate of Sharjah regarding everything related to the real estate sector. Opening the door for the center to introduce the participants in the exhibition to the leading role it plays in supporting various business sectors, which constitutes an opportunity for the public to benefit from the center’s advisory and legal expertise and to provide all kinds of support and assistance to all parties to the real estate relationship, including owners, investors and developers.

During the exhibition, the Center organized a workshop entitled “Arbitration in Settlement of Disputes”, presented by Ahmed Hussain Al-Obaidly, and it dealt with the importance of arbitration as an alternative means of resolving disputes out of the usual methods of litigation and the cases in which arbitration is resorted to in addition to the procedures followed in arbitration from the submission of the application through the completion of Case fees, formation of the arbitral tribunal, and appointment of a secretary until the file is transferred, the arbitration award is issued, and the parties are notified.
