Taekwondo Worlds: Aroune Ipopa bows in turn – AGP

Libreville, May 30, 2023 (AGP) – The Gabonese taekwondo player did not make the weight this Tuesday over the two rounds, against Hungarian Salim Omar Gergely in the category of (-58 kg).

Aroune Ipopa was largely dominated over the two rounds by one of the favorites of the tournament in the category of (-58 kg).

European and world champion in 2022 and already qualified for the next Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, Salim Omar Gergely has logically enforced the hierarchy.

After Amar Cissé on Monday, Gabon therefore recorded its second defeat on Tuesday in as many outings during these worlds which are currently being played in Baku, Azerbaijan.
