Tabreed, the national central cooling company, recorded an increase in its net profit, to reach 386.4 million dirhams, during the first half of 2023, compared to 240.4 million dirhams during the first half of 2022.
Tabreed’s revenues increased during the first half of this year by 9.4% on an annual basis, to reach 1.067 billion dirhams, compared to 975.7 million dirhams for the same period last year, as the company added 33,483 thousand tons of cooling this year through new connections in The country, Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the addition of a cooling plant in the Emirates, and two stations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which led to an increase in the total volume of the company’s operating capacity to 1.3 million refrigeration tons.
The company confirmed in a statement yesterday that it continues to grow internationally during the second half of this year.
