T20 Women’s World Cup 2023; India will face Pakistan first; Competition is over

The ICC has announced the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in South Africa next year. The organizers have published the schedules of the 10-team tournament.

India matches will start with a match against Pakistan. The teams are divided into two groups. Current champions from Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa are in Group A. India has been included in Group B along with Pakistan, England, the West Indies and Ireland.

Australia will begin their fight to maintain the World Cup with a match against New Zealand on 11 February. On February 11, the hosts of South Africa and Sri Lanka will enter the battle.

Each team will face the other four teams in their group once in group matches, which will be played until 21 February. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each group will play the semi-finals. The top two in each group will qualify for the semifinals.

The final of the T20 Women’s World Cup will be held in Cape Town on February 26th. There are reserve days for semifinals and finals. Each team will compete in the group stage.
