The volume of data in mobile packages continues to increase. T-Mobile will offer new tariffs from September, which have an increased price of tens of crowns compared to the current ones and include a higher amount of data. In addition, the operator returns to the practice of new packages, where after the FUP is exhausted, the user can continue to date at a significantly reduced speed. In addition, the price of the lowest tariff with unlimited data (and limited speed) will fall below one thousand crowns.
According to T-Mobile, data consumption in the Czech Republic is growing rapidly. “The average consumption of T-Mobile customer data has more than tripled in two years – from 2 GB in May 2019 to 7 GB in May 2021,” the operator writes.
The current T-Mobile tariffs with 2 GB and 4 GB of data from September will replace two new tariffs with 3 GB and 8 GB. For the lowest, the price will rise from the current CZK 525 per month to CZK 550, for the second from CZK 625 to CZK 650 per month. The current tariff with 15 GB of data will end from September.

In addition to these tariffs, the user will be able to activate the Still Online package, which will guarantee him a connection at a lower speed (256 kbit / s) even after the data allocation has been used up. The operator thus returns a bit to the former practice, which the big three have gradually suppressed in recent years.
“The Still Online service will be available from September 1 with most new tariffs that do not have unlimited data. The exceptions are the cheapest ones. The Still Online service does not apply to prepaid cards, “she added to Lupa’s question Kateřina Mikesková from the operator’s press department.
However, the customer will have to activate the Always Online service manually every month in the My T-Mobile application. “We would like our customers to be aware that there is a difference between when it is a Still Online service and for what purposes it is designed, and when they use data from the relevant tariffs, ie the data runs in the quality and speed of the given tariff. We want to avoid possible misunderstandings for people who might think that data rate in the Still Online mode is our standard, which is definitely not the case, ”explained Lupa Mikesková when asked.
From September, T-Mobile will also adjust the offer of tariffs with unlimited data. From 1 September, the Unlimited XL package will offer CZK 875 per month, which will have a speed limited to 10 Mbit / s, but the customer will be able to surf the first 15 GB of data at unlimited speed. The current lowest unlimited tariff of T-Mobil SD Unlimited costs CZK 1,075 and has a speed capped at 3 Mbit / s (the first 20 GB runs at full speed).
For CZK 1,275 per month, the operator will then offer the Unlimited 5G XL tariff, with which the customer will receive an unlimited download speed at full speed. The current tariff for CZK 1,275 (HD Unlimited) has a speed capped at 10 Mbit / s (the first 50 GB at full speed).
It is interesting that, according to published information, probably only this most expensive tariff will offer access to the operator’s 5G network. It currently operates in several selected locations, such as Prague, Brno and Mladá Boleslav.

The operator will publish the full offer of new tariffs on 1 September.
